The 2016 IBF showcased the iconic Australian lifestyle where sand meets sea, creating what was the biggest beach festival ever seen in Sydney. Including the world’s largest women’s only surf contest and Ironwoman Invitational, the IBF fused world-class spectator experiences with mass participation events by featuring a community favourite, the Shire Mile Run and Shire Ocean Swim.
