Car

From Sydney’s CBD Cronulla is approx 45 minutes drive, access via the Princes Highway. From the airport the drive is approx. 30 minutes. For up-to-date traffic information, please visit Live Traffic NSW, download a real-time traffic app from the App Store or Google Play, alternatively please call 132 701.

The Shire Mile Run will take place on Saturday, November 5 with road closures along Mitchell Road (North of Brando Road), Links Ave (East of Mitchell Road), Marine Esplanade and Prince St from 4.30am until 9.30am. Please assist us in ensuring the safety of our runners by not parking on these streets on the morning of Saturday, November 5.

Parking

There are local carparks and street parking located around the beach. The local council carpark is located on Croydon Street.

– Croydon Street, Level 1A and 1B – 2P and 4P – 8.30am until 6.00pm (Mon-Fri) and 8.30am until 12.30pm (Sat)

– Croydon Street, Level 2A, 3B, 3A and 3B – 2P – 8.30am until 6.00pm (Mon-Fri) and 8.30am until 12.30pm (Sat)

– Croydon Street, Roof Parking – 4P – 8.30am until 6.00pm (Mon-Fri) and 8.30am until 12.30pm (Sat)

Train 

Hop off the train at Cronulla train station, which is at the Southern end of the mall. From here you can walk to Cronulla Beach.

If you are traveling from Sydney City, travel south on the Eastern Suburbs and Illawarra Train line. If you’re coming from Nowra, Wollongong or Dapto, travel North via the South Coast Line. From the airport, change at Wolli Creek onto the Illawarra line and catch the train to Cronulla.
